This technique applies to interactive environments where the user is required to provide information.

Task:

Programmatically providing supplementary information

Testable Statement:

When this task is completed, the user will have access to supplementary information.

Description:

There are sometimes instances where, although the interactive environment is technically accessible, some users would have difficulty understanding what is required of them. Providing supplementary information through programmatic means could help these users complete the task. This would be beneficial when provided the information direction on the page would result in clutter.
